Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.” — Isaiah 40:28

Our God is enormous. He is greater than any sorrow we may feel, any evil we may confront, or any adversity that seeks to split us apart. He is greater than our failure or fear. He is more powerful than any uncertainty.
When your world seems to be spinning out of control, and you’re not sure whether you have the strength to keep going, remember that God has you in the palm of His hand. He is with you no matter where you go or what you do. This will never change.

You have not been abandoned.

Listen to Paul say,

“Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”
— Romans 12:10 (ESV)

Not only is God with you at all times, but you are also surrounded by a community of believers. There are so many people who love you, who have good intentions in their hearts, who want to protect, love, and support you when you’re down. Make contact with these individuals. Be willing to accept their assistance. Solicit wisdom and kindness as needed. Make new pals. Allow your heart to be open.

You were never meant to face this world alone.

Begin talking with the folks you sit next to during church, while shopping at the grocery store, sitting in the park, in the ball game, you would be surprised how folks will open up and respond. Offer assistance to someone who is in need. Pray for a complete stranger, a friend, or someone you’ve never met. Recognize that God designed His community to exist on Earth and make relationships all around you. You will never be alone.

Never ever forget the passage in Scripture that says,

“God wants these great riches of the hidden truth to be made known to the people who are not Jews. The secret is this: Christ in you brings hope of all the great things to come.”
 — (Colossians 1:27 New Life Version)
